From attending the gaming sessions for our studio I came up with the idea to make my instrucitonal product story based. As a digital story telling instructional product I would have a character from the College of Education try to find out how to setup a video conference for the first time. The character would take a journey to learn how to setup a video conference. The character could either be a TA or professor. He/She would first go to the OIT to ask what to do. The OIT would explain the steps and resources available to assist in doing the videoconference session.
The story and events must all have a relationship (things happen because other things happen). What follows each event is a result of an action in the previous event. The story must also have a character, plot, setting, conflict, purpose
Character: TA or Professor
Plot: Take a journey to setup and conduct a successful videoconference
Setting: Aderhold Hall
Conflict: Time, Equipment complications, fear of being able to conduct a smooth videoconference
Purpose: to be able to conduct a videoconference without any assistance from OIT
